Writing activity
Track your writing habits privately — streaks, words written, and time spent.
Writing activity shows how your writing is going over time: your current and longest streaks, words written, time spent, and how often you revise. It is off by default and private to you — no one else can see it.
What it records
Only that you wrote, and when — the counts and timestamps, never the words themselves. It starts from the moment you turn it on; past work is not imported.
How to use it
- Turn it on under Settings → Writing activity. Until you do, nothing is recorded.
- Write as usual — sessions are captured automatically while you type and close after a few minutes of inactivity.
- Mark a story complete from the editor toolbar when you finish it; this is what counts toward your completed-stories total and milestones. You can reopen it any time.
- Turn it off at any time, and optionally delete the history you have collected.
