Team, sharing & collaboration
Add people to your account, and share a project by a read-only link for comments and suggestions.
There are two ways to bring other people to your writing: add them to your account as team members, or share a single project by link for feedback.
Team members
Settings → Team lists everyone on your account. Each member has a role: an Owner has full control, including billing and the team itself; an Editor can create and edit projects and documents; a Viewer can read everything but not change it. Only an Owner can invite people or change roles.
To invite someone, enter their email, choose Editor or Viewer, and send the invite. They receive an emailed link to accept, and the invitation expires after 72 hours. You can revoke a pending invite, switch a member between Editor and Viewer, or remove a member at any time.
Sharing a project by link
Use Share on a project to create a read-only link — no account needed to open it. Give the link a label, choose whether it covers the whole project or a single document, and optionally let viewers see its version history. Anyone with the link can read the writing and leave comments or propose suggested edits; your words are never changed on their side.
Suggestions come back to you as tracked changes on the Suggestions tab, where you accept or reject each one. Accepting applies the change through the normal editor, and a recovery checkpoint is saved first. Revoke a link any time to cut off access.
Beta readers
When you want a named person to read one document — not a public link — invite them as a beta reader from Share → Beta readers. Enter their email, pick a single document, and choose whether they can just read it or also leave comments. They get an email and an in-app “Shared with me” entry; accepting opens only that one document. They can never reach your other documents, projects, or account. Revoke a reader’s access at any time.
Every reader reaction collects in one place: open the document’s Comments and use the author filter to see notes from your AI coaches, yourself, beta readers, and guest-link readers together.
What it costs
Inviting members and beta readers, sharing links, and reviewing comments and suggestions are all free.
